While the vast majority of traditional techniques are suitable for stamping stainless steel, it is important to remember that the force required is 60% greater than that needed for low-carbon steel; consequently, the press frame must be capable of withstanding such loads. Addressing surface scratching-particularly that caused by the high friction and elevated temperatures inherent in stainless steel stamping-is also critical. Conventional soap solutions or emulsions are often ineffective. In contrast, water-based stamping lubricants are synthetic formulations that combine the advantages of various lubricating ingredients, thereby overcoming the limitations of traditional products.
Friction during the stamping process generates heat; this high-performance lubricant automatically adheres to critical, heated areas to protect the die, reducing downtime for die polishing by an average of 25%. Regarding welding and assembly, oil-free parts facilitate these processes. Research and practical application have demonstrated excellent results when using this lubricant with MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and resistance welding.
