Although still in its early stages, my country's laser industry has achieved a leap forward-driven by global technological advancements-and has reached a level of excellence that stands out among competitors of similar quality. Laser cutting machines, for instance, are in high demand, injecting new vitality into the broader market. Since the inception and application of the first laser equipment in the 1960s, numerous Chinese experts have dedicated themselves to the field, narrowing the gap with international standards to a minimal margin. Alongside the industry's growth, complete sets of industrial laser equipment have entered the production market; this has ended the long-standing reliance on foreign technology and resolved the industry's previous predicament.
Rapid domestic economic growth serves as a key pillar for the laser market, which is expanding at an annual rate of over 20% and emerging as a new focal point in the global landscape. Experts predict that the domestic market will continue to grow rapidly-potentially doubling in size-thereby vastly expanding the market for laser cutting equipment, filling domestic gaps, liberating high-end equipment from its former constraints, and establishing the industry as a global leader. Currently, China's laser industry is concentrated primarily in Shenzhen and Wuhan; Shenzhen, in particular, serves as a vital sales hub and leads other regions thanks to its extensive development experience.
