Stainless steel CNC turning is the process to make components that withstand corrosion, high temperatures, and mechanical stress. Unlike aluminum or brass, they are softer, but stainless steel requires specialized cutting parameters, tooling geometries, and cooling strategies to prevent work hardening and tool wear. At XC Precision, our CNC lathes are equipped with high-pressure coolant systems and positive-rake carbide inserts to produce burr-free, dimensionally stable parts. We specialize in turning all austenitic (304/316), martensitic (420/440C), and precipitation-hardening (17-4PH) stainless grades. No MOQ
