Products Description

This is the Rapid Prototype Molding to produce the components which were used in the New Energy Vehicle Charging Stations. White High Glossy surface. It is only for prototypes testing.

So we consider rapid prototype molding. With only 10K mold life span and the mold was finished within 3 weeks lead time. Expect for the mold life is less, the product quality are totally the same as the mass production mold.

The following Chart can help you to understand how we deal with your injection molding projects. It is the common standard project management for our injection molding projects.

Injection Molding Process Workflow Chart

The common tolerance control standard for the Rapid Prototype Molding

We following ISO 2768 for the rapid prototype molding parts

Limits for Nominal Size Plastics (ISO 2768-M)
0.5mm to 3mm +/-0.1mm
Over 3mm to 6mm +/-0.1mm
Over 6mm to 30mm +/-0.2mm
Over 30mm to 120mm +/-0.3mm
Over 120mm to 400mm +/-0.5mm
Over 400mm to 1000mm +/-0.8m
Over 1000mm to 2000mm +/-1.2mm
Over 2000mm to 4000mm +/-2mm

How to Choose the Right Material for your Injection Molding Products?

Materials like PP/ABS/PC/ABS+PC/PA6/PA66/POM/PVC…It was widely used for the injection molding products. Selecting the correct material is a critical step to balances performance and manufacturability, and cost. Here are the key factors you should consider when do the product design:

Mechanical Requirements: Evaluate the part's functional demands.

  • High Impact → ABS or Polycarbonate (for tough housings).
  • High Strength & Wear → Nylon or Acetal (for gears or moving parts).
  • Flexibility → Polypropylene (for living hinges) or TPE (for soft-touch grips).

Chemical & Environmental Exposure: Consider what the part will contact.

  • Outdoor/UV Exposure → Use UV-stabilized grades of materials like ASA (similar to ABS) to prevent yellowing/cracking.
  • Wet/Humid Conditions → Polypropylene or Polyethylene (low moisture absorption) are better choices than Nylon, which can swell.

Thermal Tolerance: Match the material's heat resistance to its operating environment.

  • High Heat (e.g., under the hood) → PEEK or PEI (for extreme temps) or Nylon.
  • Sterilization → Polypropylene (autoclave) or PEEK (chemical/radiation) for medical devices.

Regulatory & Aesthetic Needs:

  • Medical/Food Contact → Must choose FDA grades like PP, PC, or specific ABS.
  • Appearance → ABS and Acrylic (PMMA) offer high-gloss finishes
